A 25 qt. completely self-contained sterilizer with an immersion heating element, automatic thermostatic control, automatic release valve, and pilot light. Ensures complete, efficient sterilization. Only a small amount of water is needed, and the dry steam, at a temperature of 135C (275F), penetrates bandages or instruments, making them sterile in 20 or 30 minutes. Made of high-quality cast aluminum, with stamped aluminum seamless insert crate, cast aluminum racks, flexible metal exhaust tube, dial gauge and valve control, metal-to-metal seal (no rubber gaskets), and Fenwal thermostatic control. 25 Qt. liquid capacity. Loads from the top. cylindrical. Has thermostat, electric heat. 0-19 PSI. Sterilizing range: 250-259F/121-126C tp 15-20 pounds steam pressure. For general medical, dental, chiropody, veterinary, tattooing, body piercing, health and cosmetic application. The heating element on the 50X is the larger 1650 watt element and has a 50% faster startup time and 36% greater heating capacity than the discontinued 25X model.
