Dean and Stark Moisture Tester for Glass

The Koehler K31830 Dean and Stark moisture test apparatus determines the water content in petroleum products, tars, emulsified asphalts and other bituminous materials by the distillation method. The apparatus comprises a glass or metal still (see stock #N1166), a heater, a reflux condenser, and a graduated glass trap. The still, trap, and condenser may be connected by any suitable method that produces a leakproof joint.
Consists of glass still, 400mm condenser, 10mL receiver and 1000mL flask. Includes 750W heating mantle with control, 500-1000ml capacity.
