The model 3500 Stomacher features a mixing capacity of 1000 to 3500ml. Stomachers/lab blenders offer fast, reliable blending and homogenizing of laboratory samples through their unique action by which paddles apply pressure to a sample within a sterile, disposable bag. Contents are blended and homogenized, and deep-seated organisms are effectively washed out. Laboratory samples can be collected, transported, processed, and disposed of without handling. Ideal for processing food microbiology samples; removing viruses and bacteria from tissues and organs; testing sterility of creams, ointments, and dry powders; and removing organisms from swabs, filters, tissue biopsies, and fecal samples. Timer Settings (sample processing time): 30, 60, 120 seconds.
The Stomacher 3500 is designed for blending large volumes. The Stomacher 3500 features three paddle speeds and three time settings plus continuous cycle. Mixing Capacity: 1000 to 3500ml.

Stomacher® 3500 Series

The Stomacher® 3500 Series is a versatile range of tools for large volume blending and extraction, where all the washing solution or solvent needs to be retained for analysis. This heavy duty range of machines is manufactured to industrial standards and regularly used in applications for large volume food microbiology, forensic residue analysis and testing for waterborne parasites.

The Stomacher® technique has become the world standard for preparing samples for Trichinella in pork and waterborne parasites such as Giardia.

Available Models

Stomacher® 3500 Standard: Used where large volume blending is required. The blending of powders with diluents and the microbiological testing of complete recipe dishes are two popular applications.

Stomacher® 3500 Water Biowasher: Originally designed to process the large volume of filter fibres derived from cartridge filters used in testing water for parasites. The Stomacher® method for preparing the samples is referenced throughout the world for this technique.

Stomacher® 3500 Thermo Bioreactor: Used in the pork industry to prepare samples for the detection of Trichinella.

Choose from a range of three bags compatible with the Stomacher® 3500 range. The BA6042 standard 3500 Bag (65 microns) suits standard operations and the BA6042/HD Heavy Duty bag serves resilient applications with a greater bag thickness of 80 microns.

The new autoclavable Stomacher® bag BA6042/ACL is the first paddle blender bag that can also be autoclaved. Eliminating bag ruptures and spillages when autoclaving and reducing laboratory plastic waste.
