Door Options
See-Through Acrylic (140 Series)
The see-through acrylic door provides uninterrupted monitoring and optimal transparency for observing samples. The Model '140' Incubator acrylic door is not suitable for applications introducing high moisture, products containing ammonia or alcohol derivatives, certain oils, commercial cleansers, urine, or any harsh chemicals/constituents.
Insulated Steel Door (180 Series)
The insulated steel door features aluminum interior construction for optimal performance in high-temperature applications. This "180" series steel door is recommended for applications that introduce high moisture or chemicals to the incubators, providing maximum temperature control and superior sample safety.
Temperature Controls
Bi-metal Thermostat
Reliable, cost-effective thermostats that recover temperature quickly after loading and unloading contents.
Standard Digital Controller
Advanced performance capabilities for complex and critical applications. Features a simple yet powerful interface that is easy to understand, providing ease of use and high-level accuracy.
Safety & Protection
Digital Controller High-limit Alarm
In addition to standard in-line fuse protection, digital incubators have another layer of protection within the controller: a high-limit alarm that shuts off the heating elements in the event of an over-temperature condition.
Electrical In-line Fuse
A vital safety mechanism that automatically cuts off power in case of electrical surges or malfunctions, ensuring peace of mind and safeguarding against potential hazards.
Heat Distribution
Gravity Convection
Single and dual element coils at the bottom of the incubators generate the right amount of heat that, by the process of gravity convection, provides gentle and uniform heating.
Air-Forced
Air-forced convection incubators significantly increase the rate of heat transfer by circulating heated air in the chamber, allowing for better control over temperature gradients and more precise heat-exchange processes.
Shelves
Nickel-plated, chemical resistant, heavy gauge wire shelves ensure uniform heat distribution with long-lasting durability. Wire construction allows hot air to circulate around the chamber contents.
High-quality Aluminum Perforated Shelves enhance the functionality of AE series incubators. Lightweight yet durable, with uniformly spaced cross-shaped perforations, these shelves ensure optimal air circulation and stable support for samples.
