GX-L Series: High Capacity Precision Balances
The GX-L high capacity precision balances were designed for applications that require laboratory accuracy but with industrial protection. The EMFC weighing system is protected by a durable metal housing and offers a maximum capacity of 100 kg.
Key Features
- IP65 Protection: All models are IP65 rated for protection against dust and washdown, making them an ideal choice for applications weighing liquid/powder or for dusty environments.
- Flexible Display Position: The swing-arm display stand allows users to easily adjust the height or relocate the display from a rear column setup to front mounted depending on the user's preference. Alternatively, certain models have a remote display stand that can be wall mounted away from the platform for easier viewing or to protect the display from harsh environments.
- Communication: The GX-L comes standard with RS232 and bi-directional USB (cable included). The balance maintains its IP65 protection rating with the use of USB or RS232 making it even better suited for dirty/wet environments.
- Internal Calibration: With automatic internal calibration, it can be set to adjust automatically according to set execution conditions (temperature change, preset time or interval) to maintain accuracy even in changing environmental conditions.
- Level Detection: To ensure accurate measurements, the GX-L will display a blinking alert (TILT) when the device is out of level, prompting users to adjust.
- User Access Control: Password protection is offered 2 ways. First is to limit use to up to 11 authorized individuals (including 1 admin) and requiring a password for each user. The second is to set a password only for the admin so that they can make changes, but allowing anyone to use the balance without requiring a password (measurements only).
