Paramount® Ductless Enclosures
Paramount® Ductless Enclosures provide self-contained workspaces for safe handling of organic, formaldehyde, acid gas, sulfur compounds, ammonia chemical fumes and vapors, as well as particulates. These enclosures filter interior air through carbon filters and, in some configurations, additional HEPA filters before safely returning it to the laboratory environment. Two filter types may be stacked to accommodate mixed chemical or combination gaseous/particulate applications. No external ductwork is required.

- Filter life and check timers with audible/LCD visual elapsed time alerts
- Digital touchpad controls
Construction and Design
- Powder-coated aluminum frame and steel rear plenum and baffle with no plastic-to-plastic bonding
- Durable tempered safety glass front sash and sides (1/4" thick) provide visibility, ambient light and chemical resistance
- Ergonomic angled and hinged pivoting sash with wiping seal and patented sloped front (U.S. Patent No. D 538,941)
- Spacious sash opening spans the width of the enclosure: 9.4" (23.9 cm) or 12.0" (48.3 cm) high depending on model
- Pre-wired fluorescent lamp with timer for energy-savings and safeguard for light-sensitive materials
- Electronic security lock (optional activation) requires password to change operating parameters
- Two utility ports allow passage of tubing, electrical cords and interface cables from inside to back exterior
- Convenient, front-accessible filter replacement with gas spring-assisted clamping mechanism
- 8.2' power cord and plug; no plug on 230 volt models
Filter Compatibility
Accommodates seven filter types to cover a wide variety of needs. Filters are stackable to handle mixed chemical applications:

Sash Height Specifications
Models with 9.4" sash opening height have 16.5" locking height and 19.0" maximum loading height. Models with 12.0" sash opening height and 32.0" interior height have 25.8" locking height and 28.3" maximum loading height. Models with 12.0" sash opening height and 35.0" interior height have 28.8" locking height and 31.3" maximum loading height.

Optional Glass Baffle Models
Optional clear safety glass baffle provides 360° visibility for teaching demonstrations. The baffle pivots down for cleaning. Available in 3' Tall and 4' Tall configurations.

Performance varies by model size and configuration. Quieter, cooler and more energy-efficient ECM impeller is 95% efficient and generates less heat for more comfortable working conditions.
