The Koehler K87760 tag tester offers simple automation routine for easy operation. For determining flash point through an Automatic Tag Closed Cup Tester, conforming to ASTM D56. Used for flash point determinations of liquids with a viscosity below 5.5 mm2/s (cSt) at 40 °C (104 °F), or below 9.5 mm2/s (cSt) at 25 °C (77 °F), and a flash point below 93 °C (200 °F), except for cutback asphalts which tend to form a surface film under test conditions and materials which contain suspended solids..

The Automatic Tag Flash Point Tester is a bench-top, fully-automatic Tag Closed-Cup flash point tester that combines high-accuracy temperature sensing, selectable ignition modes (gas or electronic), automatic detection and safety interlocks, built-in cooling (Peltier) with optional external refrigeration bath for low-temperature determinations, and data storage/communication for traceable records. Designed to meet the precision and procedure requirements of ASTM D56 and comparable standards.
