Dean and Stark Moisture Tester for Metal

The Koehler K31800 Dean and Stark moisture test apparatus determines the water content in petroleum products, tars, emulsified asphalts and other bituminous materials by the distillation method. The apparatus comprises a glass (see stock #N961) or metal still, a heater, a reflux condenser, and a graduated glass trap. The still, trap, and condenser may be connected by any suitable method that produces a leakproof joint.
This set-up consists of a metal still, gas ring burner (K31910), Glassware set (K31810) 400mm condenser, 10mL receiver, 1000mL flask and mounting hardware (K31820). Includes 750W heating mantle with control, 500-1000ml capacity.
