Frontier™ 5000 Series Multi-Pro Centrifuges
The Frontier 5000 Series delivers powerful, high-speed centrifugation across a broad platform designed for universal use in research, industrial, and clinical laboratories. Five models provide capacities ranging from low microliter volumes to 6 × 250 ml, with performance engineered to handle maximum volume at high speeds. The platform combines automatic rotor identification, comprehensive safety features, and compatibility with an extensive range of rotors and accessories to address virtually every centrifugation application.
Engineering and Construction
German-engineered performance drives these centrifuges, featuring maintenance-free induction drive systems and thread-free rotor locking mechanisms. Chemical and corrosion-resistant stainless steel housing ensures durability in demanding laboratory environments. Non-refrigerated models incorporate optimized airflow systems to keep samples cool, while refrigerated models include pre-cooling programs to quickly reach desired temperatures. Self-diagnostic programs record usage and error history to facilitate maintenance and minimize downtime.
User-Friendly Operation
Simple one-hand operation is enabled through a selection button and rotary knob combination that functions even with gloves. Automatic rotor recognition makes switching between applications extremely easy. A large backlit LCD display presents centrifugation settings and real-time parameters on one interface. Program storage accommodates up to 99 runs, including parameter settings and rotor types, streamlining workflow transitions.
