RXPert Single Filtered Balance Systems are Class I biological safety cabinets designed for drug compounding and manipulation of pharmaceutical ingredients. They meet the USP <800> requirements for non-sterile compounding when ducted, and include a factory-installed canopy and damper for thimble ducting to the outside. Their true bag-in/bag-out HEPA filter disposal system provides safe filter replacement.

In addition to the built-in blower (included), all models also require a remote blower (not included), ductwork and supporting base.

Labconco RXPert Filtered Balance Systems are flexible, powder-containing enclosures specifically designed to meet USP <800> guidelines for hazardous non-sterile compounding.
To withstand the rigorous demands of compounding pharmacies, RXPert Filtered Balance Systems (a type of Class I BSC) are constructed of durable glass and steel, and are third-party validated to ensure maximum powder containment.
RXPert Filtered Balance Systems for hazardous non-sterile compounding typically require a segregated compounding room known as a Compounding Secondary Engineering Control, or C-SEC. Per USP <800>, a C-SEC is
negatively pressurized between 0.01 and 0.03" of water column, is vented to the outside and has at least 12 air changes per hour.

Air Usage/Static Pressure with Sash At Working Height: At 60 fpm, exhausts 130 CFM at .37 - .43" H2O static pressure. At 80 fpm, exhausts 175 CFM at .53 - .62" H2O static pressure.
Blower Requirements: Contains built-in blower and exhaust HEPA filter, Remote blower or FilterMate Portable Exhauster(s) and filters required
