Product Description
The PQ-N04 planetary ball mill uses 4 grinding stations arranged on a "Sun Wheel". When the wheel rotates, the balls inside the grinding stations are subject to rotational movements at 350 rpm. The difference in speeds between the grinding balls and the jars produce frictional and impact forces. These forces release dynamic energies that work to grind product to as little as 0.1 micron.

The unit's primary features include:

-Safety switch ensures automatic shut down if cover is opened during operation

Two or four grinding jars may be used simultaneously with 2/3 max feed capacity per jar. The unit may be ran a maxiumum of 72 continuous hours. The unit can be programmed for various grinding methods including single direction no timing, single direction with timing, bi-direction with timing, single direction with paused interval and timing and bi-direction with paused interval and timing. There are also compatible vacuum jars available if necessary. Purchase of jars both vacuum and non-vacuum is separate. Many jar and ball types are available, please inquire!

*The PQN04 planetary mill also offers 4x500ml and 4x1000ml units for larger grinding stations. If your application requires larger volumes, a unit with increased throughput is available.
