Purair FLOW Laminar Flow Cabinets
The Purair FLOW Series laminar flow cabinets deliver ISO Class 5 air quality through vertical laminar airflow and HEPA filtration. These cabinets protect the work surface from biological or particulate contamination while providing unrestricted access to the work zone. Ideal for pharmacy compounding of non-toxic agents, cell culture, instrument assembly, and other processes where product protection is essential but operator protection from hazardous materials is not required.
Available Sizes
Three cabinet widths available: 24", 36", and 48". Each model features stackable sections for easy portability and quick setup. Cabinets may be bench mounted or positioned on an optional mobile cart or base stand.
Energy Efficiency
Single EC blower motor delivers exceptional energy efficiency with power consumption ranging from 37 to 115 watts depending on model size. The FLOW-24 consumes just 37 watts, the FLOW-36 uses 78 watts, and the FLOW-48 operates at 115 watts.

Construction and Materials
The cabinet frame features white epoxy-coated steel with white legs on cabinet sides. Transparent acrylic windows on the back and sides provide 360-degree visibility, allowing ambient illumination into the chamber and unobstructed viewing of work zone contents. The durable, chemically resistant construction includes a microbial powder finish coating. Clear back and side panels enhance visibility while maintaining clean air conditions.
Airflow and Filtration Performance
Room air enters from the cabinet top through a disposable pre-filter where larger particles are trapped. Air then passes through the HEPA filter and flows uniformly downward across the work zone at an average velocity of 0.30 m/s (60 fpm) at initial setpoint, measured 6" (150 mm) from the filter face. This gentle vertical laminar flow provides sufficient air changes to eliminate cross contamination and maintain optimum cleanliness before exiting across the open cabinet front.

The pre-filter may be replaced while the unit is in operation, accessible from the exterior top of the cabinet. The main HEPA filter is easy to replace with no tools required. A screw compression clamp ensures an even seal at the filter peripheral face to prevent bypass leakage.
