Standard Control System
All Purair BIO EN models are equipped with membrane-style switches for simplified operation and user interface while maintaining essential functions.
- Analog Minihelic gauge verifies airflow
- On/Off key-switch controls main power
- Soft key switches control interior lighting, UV lamp, interior outlet activation, and fan
- Sash alarm indicator activates audible and visual warning of unsafe sash position (10 inches or 25 cm from bottom of cabinet)
- Mute button silences alarm for specified time
- Safety interlock feature activates fan and fluorescent light when sash opens; automatically switches off UV light
Installation and Flexibility
The slim profile design with a width of 31.10 inches passes easily through a standard 38-inch wide doorway to accommodate a variety of new or replacement installations. The cabinet is self-contained and does not require venting to the outside. Because filtered air is returned to the room, there is no increased load requirement for facility HVAC make-up air, eliminating the cost of additional ductwork construction and HVAC maintenance.
