The Sentry Air 40” Wide Acid Gas Fume Hood was designed specifically to handle corrosive acid gases and withstand harsh chemical environments where traditional materials would break down over time.
It offers a unique and durable external ducting solution for applications that produce corrosive acid gases.
Every component of this hood, including the sides, base, hinges, and even the exhaust collar, offers outstanding acid resistance, providing a safe and reliable acid gas containment solution. This lightweight ducted fume hood features a seam-welded, one-piece construction made of acid-resistant polypropylene.

This hood features an upgraded polycarbonate sash with abrasion resistance coating (AR2) that
offers improved scratch resistance, durability, and chemical resistance and a strong, durable structure with fewer potential leak points and no mechanical joints to corrode or fail.
