Macbeth (Radiometer) Light Spex
|
This MacBeth (made for Radiometer) LIGHTSPEX SPECTRORADIOMETER is used for measuring light in a light booth and calibrating. When a measurement is initiated, the LightSpex samples the entire visible spectrum of light incident upon the cosine receptor using a fast-scan 256-element spectrograph optically coupled to the Cosine Receptor. When a measurement is initiated, the LightSpex automatically samples the light level present and adjusts its sensitivity automatically to compensate
From the SPD data the LightSpex calculates and reports, along with the SPD, a wide variety of radiometric quantities for the measured source, including:
ú Irradiance in W/m2/nm, Illuminance in W/m2, footcandles, and lux (candela/m2), peak irradiance, integrated irradiance, and peak irradiance wavelength.
ú Correlated Color Temperature [CCT] in Kelvin.
ú Spectral Power Distribution [SPD] (wavelength vs. calibrated intensity across the visible spectrum).
