Phipps and Bird 300

The Phipps and Bird floculation stirrer is for alum floc formation determination. When several samples are stirred simultaneously under identical conditions, the optimum concentration of flocculant can be quickly selected and translated into plant quantaties. Speed of stirring rods from 10-100RPM. The entire battery of stirring rods, or any single stirring rod, can be used at one time. Individual 1" wide by 3" long stainless steel paddles are adjustable for depth and can be removed from the beakers while stirrer is in operation without disturbing the other paddles. Can be used with Phipps and Bird floc illuminator for glare free observation of samples (not included). Price includes new set of 6 round glass jars as well as missing paddle.
