The Thermo Savant Automatic Environmental SpeedVac Systems are complete systems for solvent evaporation, sample concentration and drying. AES systems use a patented technique that combines centrifugal force, vacuum and applied heat to eliminate sample bumping and foaming. Application of thermal energy to the sample during concentration counteracts the natural evaporation cooling effect that slows the drying rate. AES1010 and AES2010 systems integrate a SpeedVac concentrator; an oil-free vacuum pump and a refrigerated vapor trap into a single compact package. The AES2010 is a high capacity system for processing up to four 500 ml samples. Features an advanced front panel with dual timer for automatic or manual control of run conditions. The Savant SpeedVac AES2010 centrifugal evaporator allows you to fully concentrate/dry multiple samples without loss of solute. Incorporates the SpeedVac concentrator, 4L -55C cold trap and oil-free vacuum pump. It has a fully automatic bleeder valve - assures complete sample protection from bumping. Three user selectable drying rates; low, medium and high - optimizes the concentrating and drying process. Teflon coated, deep concentration chamber - accommodates samples in large sizes containers/allows for processing of large batch runs of smaller samples. Telfon coating protects the chamber from harsh solvents for years of trouble free service. Corrosion resistant vapor path - provides long instrument life and complete protection from solvents.
