The Precision Systems OSMETTE A model 5002 osmometer is fully automatic with a digital readout. It features high reliability and handles 30 to 60 2ml or 0.2ml samples per hour. Special fast equilibrating 55ml bath ensures exact temperature for every sample, controlled to within +/-0.1C. Bath temperature lowers automatically for highly concentrated samples. Features 2-step calibration with noninteracting calibration controls, third point calibration. allows range switching without recalibration. Range: 0 to 3000 mOsm/kg H2O. Precision for 2ml sample: < 1000 mOsm/kg: 1mOsm/kg H2O, > 1000mOsm/kg H2O: 0.2% Precision for 0.2ml sample: < 500 mOsm/kg: 2mOsm/kg H2O, > 500mOsm/kg H2O: 0.5%
