This VWR 1245 heated water bath features microprocessor control, easy to use and accurate digital temperature set and readout, double wall construction providing air-jacketed heating to eliminate hot spots, recessed heating element to prevent burnout when water completely evaporates, temperature range ambient + 5C to 99.9C (max temp can be reached only if covered; lid is not included), uniformity +/- o.2C at 37C and visual alarm to indicate when over-temperature safety is activated.
