Block Scientific Octafuge OCT-VI

The Octafuge is a reliable and powerful centrifuge system designed to satisfy all your centrifuging applications in physicians' offices, R&D laboratories, small laboratories, teaching labs, satellite labs, or any lab facility. It is designed with high impact ABS and Lexan in order to withstand the rigors of routine use. The device features a transparent Lexan lid with safety interlock, which helps to minimize exposure to biohazards such as aerosols. A sealed dome shield is supplied with the device for greater safety. The Octafuge 12 Volt not only has a wealth of excellent features, but is also very easy to operate with a setting for continuous operation. Optional electronic timer and optional breaking system are other outstanding features worthy of mentioning. The instrument has a fixed angle rotor and has the capability to handle six 10 mL to 15mL tubes and can accept six 16x125mL tubes, and accommodates newer plastic vacs.
