Description:	The Pharmacia UV-M II monitor is Microprocessor-based, high-precision single-beam absorbance detector primarily intended for use with FPLC systems. Ideal for gradient elutions since the double cone 5 mm flow cell excludes refractive indexes effects. The Optical Unit can be placed adjacent to the column for minimal dead volume effects. A choice of mercury or zinc lamps and eight filters covers the range of wavelengths from 214 to 546 nm. The filters are easily selected using the rotary filter wheel. The microprocessor within the Control Unit coordinates auto-zero, event mark, and baseline adjustment with self-diagnostics and remote control. A complete system should consist of the control unit, as well as an optical unit, and flow cell(s), both of which are not included but might be available at additional cost.
