The VWR 9000 relative humidity chamber features precision temperature and humidity control, which creates an ideal environment for industrial component research and QC testing. Microprocessor controls maintain a temperature range of 10C above ambient to 70C and 10% above ambient to 95% RH. Set-point temperature is maintained through the thermal insulation of a 19-gallon water jacket that surrounds an inner chamber. The inner chamber surface provides feedback from both the water jacket and the chamber interior. Large LED display allows quick and easy readings. An independent door heater helps maintain uniform temperature and eliminate condensation. Safety is assured with an independent over-temperature protection feature that can be set to within 2C above the set-point temperature. A low-pressure generator that injects saturated water vapor into the recirculating air duct controls chamber humidification. Pressure coupling allows for easy hook-up of in-line plumbing or a carboy of distilled water. Stainless steel construction allows for easy cleaning and removal of contaminants. A removable antifungal door gasket and interior door simplify cleaning and reduce downtime. Note: Exclusive use of distilled water in this unit is recommended by the manufacturer.
