This Clay Adams Autocrit Ultra 3 micro-hematocrit centrifuge has a lid interlock but unit can be opened during rotor slow down period. Designed for hematology applications. Features direct-reading spiral scale built into the head. Makes specimen handling and reading more efficient. Wide-field magnifier provides view of plasma cell interface and reduces operator fatigue. Electronic reset timer automatically returns to selected interval after each cycle. Automatic locking latch prevents lid from opening when power is on. Automatic braking at the end of each cycle prevents abrupt stops for a gradual, consistent deceleration. Transparent carrying tray holds capillary tubes from sample collection to readout.
