The IEC Centra CL-2 offers dependable performance at an economical price, the Centra-CL2 centrifuge is the ideal choice for budget-minded clinical, industrial, and research laboratories. Despite its low cost, the Centra-CL2 is loaded with standard features, including an At-Speed timer, variable speed control, and a cover interlock. Plus, the unit has the versatility to handle a variety of tube sizes from 1.5 to 50mL. Maximum capacity is 300 mL (6 x 50 mL). The Centra-CL2 features a simple, microprocessor-controlled membrane touch panel for setting speed and run time. Use the arrow keys on the control panel to set speeds from 1000 to 8500rpm in 100rpm increments. Run time can be set from 5 seconds to 1 minute in 5-sec. increments, from 1 to 5 minutes in 15-sec. increments, and from 5 to 30 minutes in 1-min. increments. The timer also features a HOLD position for continuous runs. Both speed and run time are displayed on digital LCD readouts. This unit also features an At-Speed timing mode. When this mode is activated, the unit delays countdown until the rotor reaches operating speed. This produces more accurate and easily repeatable runs. For added safety, the Centra-CL2 features a cover interlock which prevents the lid from being opened until the rotor reaches a complete stop. The unit operates very quietly, so it can be used on any worktop without causing a noisy distraction. ROTOR AND OTHER ACCESSORIES SOLD SEPARATELY. We have a wide variety of rotors & accessories available used from stock. To quote you on the accessories, I would need to know: 1) your tube or vessel volume(s) 2) how many tubes do you plan to spin at a time? 3) what speed you intend to spin at? Swinging bucket rotors tend to have limited speeds at which they are to be operated at and fixed angle rotors are generally used for higher speeds.
