IEC Micromax RF

This IEC Micromax RF refrigerated microcentrifuge can reach speeds of 15,000rpm/21,000xG. It includes IEC 851 rotor (Force: 16,250g; Capacity: 24 x 1.5/2.0mL). This centrifuge can handle loads up to 48mL (24 x 2.0mL). There is an optional sealed 24-place rotor provides complete aerosol containment and meets OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Final Rule. Features a simple, microprocessor-controlled, liquid-resistant membrane control panel with digital display. Accepts tubes from 0.25 to 2.0mL (depending on rotor installed). Speed can be set from 1000 to 15,000rpm in 100rpm increments. Or you can choose g-forces of up to 21,000xG and the unit will automatically calculate the appropriate speed. Run time can be set up to 1 minute in 1-sec. intervals, from 1 to 5 minutes in 15-sec. increments, and from 5 to 99 minutes in 1-min. increments. Or for untimed runs, you can use the Hold or Momentary Spin functions. Set temperatures from -9 to +40C in 1C increments. Space-saving design. Three accessory rotors are available at an additional cost: a 48-place rotor for 0.5mL tubes, a 40-place rotor which accepts 0.25 and 0.4mL tubes, and a sealed 24-place rotor that provides complete aerosol containment.
