This Boekel Shaker II hybridization incubator is ideal for hybridizing and prehybridizing membranes used in Southern and Northern blotting techniques. The gentle rocking motion provides washes that are less messy than a shaking water bath and more convenient than a shaker inside a conventional incubator. The small footprint conserves valuable bench space. Three 22x20x1.3cm (821/32x77/8x1/2") shelves, spaced 6.35cm (2.5") apart, accommodate dishes or heat-sealed bags. Shelves are removable to increase space for taller vessels. Equipped with a gasket-sealed, metal and acrylic see-through door. The control panel features temperature selection buttons; an easy-to-read LCD temperature display; an independent, calibrated, safety thermostat; and a speed adjustment knob. Shaking Speed: 8 to 25 strokes per minute Temperature Range: 5 above ambient to 70C Temperature Stability: +/-0.2 at 65C
