This Shandon AS325R rotary microtome is a manual rotary microtome for routine paraffin sectioning. It has a lightly balanced flywheel designed to address repetitive stress injury. Specimen advance: 1 to 30 um in 1 um steps Specimen coarse advance: 200 Lrm per revolution (clockwise to advance specimen) Total specimen advance: 18mm Advance between audible limits: 16mm Knife travel: 30mm Specimen stroke: 52mm Knife tilt: 0 to 35 degrees (depending on type of knife holder) Specimen tilt: +- 5 degrees with X-Y micro adjust Specimen retraction (when fitted): 40 Microns
