The Barnstead/Thermolyne Quantech FM109535 fluorometer is ideal for life-science applications ranging from quantitative biochemical assays to DNA and RNA quantification. Also useful for applications such as quantification of nucleic acids in drug preparations, cell proliferation assays, wastewater analysis, and hydrocarbon monitoring. This model is the Wide Band model. Easy-to-use menu-driven software navigates operator through setup of standard curve. Software includes a help guide to select correct filter for application, and diagnostics/status menu to troubleshoot performance_four available languages. Store up to nine multipoint (2 to 9 points) standard curves in memory for timely recall when performing quantitative analysis. Measure single point raw fluorescence or sample concentrations based on linear regression analysis of standard curve data. Feature discrete signal averaging and excellent sensitivity. Automatic gain adjustment eliminates time-consuming manual adjustment, and automatic optimization of linear range maximizes working concentration range. Features large sample compartment to accommodate wide variety of cells or cuvets including 12.5 x 12.5 x 45mm square cuvets, 12 x 75mm round tubes and flow cell option. Comes with RS-232-C serial interface to connect to a computer and/or printer (not included), one excitation filter (11-164-68), and one emission filter (11-164-64). Complete selection of excitation and emission filters available from manufacturer/distributors at additional cost. Why spend over U$7800 new?
Excitation Range: 254-750nm
Emission Range: 185-870nm
Concentration Range: 0.00-9999.99 (ppt, ppm, ppb, ug/dL, ug/mL, ng/mL, pg/mL, ng/uL)
