This Fisher Biotech FB 650 power supply offers 4 jacks for efficient operation allowing you to run 4 apparatus at one time. Solid-state circuitry ensures reliable performance; compact design saves benchtop space. Built-in safety features protect the user employing a load-sensing interlock circuit that turns off the high voltage when cables are disconnected from either the power supply or the chamber to prevent shock and this unit uses a separate start button to actuate high voltage. Also has built-in protective devices. Designed to operate from 0C to 30C. Operates in three modes: constant power (especially crucial for techniques requiring accurate temperature control), constant current or constant voltage. Under constant power mode, power supply adjusts to changing conditions during the course of the run without creating "hot spots" on the gel. Has automatic crossover between modes. Also suitable for PAGE and submarine gel electrophoresis. Output Voltage: 6000/2000V Output Current: 100/350mA Output Power: 200w External timer can be used (not included).
