This Sorvall MT-1 "Porter-Blum" microtome has mechanical advance, variable sectioning range between 1/40 to 1/2 micron, by-pass slide for thicker sections, bracket for light source, cantilever arm lock, fine adjustment micrometer (graduated in 1 micron divisions) for advancing upper stage, 5/16" collet type specimen holder.
