The Hunterlab D25 colorimeter is a simple and Rugged Reflected Color Measurement Filter Colorimeter. Built to withstand harsh plant environments, the D25 system provides precise color measurement and analysis across a wide range of industries. Simple, one-button operation allows color quality control functions to be performed efficiently and accurately with minimal operator training. A choice of optical sensors provides correlation with visual assessments, and suits a variety of QC applications. The sensor present in this unit is the D25M sensor (45 degree circumferential illumination, 0 degree viewing through an optical fiber beam splitter, 2" diameter specimen area) which is typically used for plastics pellets, bi-directional fabrics like corduroy, filaments or fibers wound on cards, striated boards and twilled or stripped fabrics. D25L sensors and D25A sensors can be ordered and installed at extra cost. The D25L Sensor (not included) is well suited for measuring samples like baked or roasted food products. D25L Sensor measures the color of non-uniform samples such as large particles or samples with irregular surfaces with 45 degree circumferential illumination and with 0 degree viewing of a 3.75 inch (95 mm) sample measurement area. The D25A Sensor (not included) measures samples such as paint, paper, calcium carbonate and juices. D25A Sensor measures the reflected color of solids, powders and translucent liquids with 45 degree illumination via dual opposing light beams and with 0 degree viewing of a 2 inch (51mm) sample measurement area. Designed for use in harsh environments. Includes DP-9000 processor featuring liquid crystal display and built in printer.
