The IEC HT centrifuge includes choice of rotor as available from stock. Max speed: 17,000RPM/34375g. Compact with triple wall steel containment chamber. Variable speed control and 120min timer. Max. Vol:416 ml (8 x 52ml);Max. No. of Tubes: 8 (50 ml): 24 (5 ml); 56 (0.8 ml). This rugged, dependable bench-top unit is the low cost centrifuge of choice for many difficult-to-separate materials such as paint and grease, as well as for a variety of high speed applications in the bio-research laboratory. It offers the Relative Centrifugal Force that you would normally expect only from a floor model high speed centrifuge...yet it occupies just 14" x 17" of bench space. In addition, for work requiring refrigerated conditions or for applications involving extremely hazardous or reactive samples, the HT control panel is optionally removable to enable remote operation in a cold box or isolation chamber. The Model HT features variable speed control with an easy-to-read combination tachometer/ammeter to afford accurate setting and repeatability of run conditions. Run cycles may be manually controlled or automatic using the 120-minute timer. During operation, the motor and rotor chamber are cooled by a constant flow of air drawn in through the port in the protective cover.
The IEC HT is safe and simple to operate, designed for years of trouble-free service. It's constructed entirely of steel to assure operator safety, and finished inside and out with a chemical resistant baked enamel paint for easy cleaning and rust/corrosion protection.
Other Features:
Control console removable for remote operation
Triple-wall, all-steel containment system
Spins a full 400 ml load (8 x 50 ml) to over 34,000 xg
