The Labconco Centrivap rapidly concentrates multiple small samples using centrifugal force, vacuum, and heat, which eliminates bumping and foaming. This evaporator allows complete recovery of solutes from sample volumes as small as 0.5mL and accommodates a variety of rotors, holding sample containers from 0.5 to 50mL. This Centrivap includes a 54 x 1.5 mL single rotor and will also accommodate a second (stackable) 18 x 1.5 mL bottom rotor which is not included. The Labconco Centrivap has built-in vacuum delay when using a 300W heater and a belt-driven 1/40HP motor rotates the system up to 1800rpm. There is a vacuum pump connection and a cold trap connection. The front control panel has a switch to activate the centrifugation and a switch to activate the heat boost. This evaporator includes a cold trap (#24686). Vacuum pump may be available separately at additional cost.
