Ohaus 6010 (10g x 0.01g)

The OHAUS 6010 moisture balance is a specially designed, magnetically dampened precision balance of 10g capacity with built-in infrared heater. Sample is placed on the pan and the infrared lamp is adjusted over the sample; heat is adjusted within the range 0-375W for a time interval between 1 and 60 minutes. A signal bell sounds when the preset timer automatically sets off the heat. Through out the drying cycle, decreases in weight can be read simultaneously on a reticle graduated in grams over a 10g range to 0.01g. Percent of moisture can be read simultaneously on the same reticle over a 100% range to 0.1%. Recommended for moisture determinations of aqueous solutions, adhesives, asphalt, food, chemicals, detergents, fertilizers, leather, paper, paper, plastics, cement, paint, resins, etc.
