The Gilford Response spectrophotometer combines high technology with simplicity of operation. The microprocessor controlled photometric system features temporal dual beam and single beam operation with automatic reference corrected measurements. There is also automatic baseline compensation for background spectral energy and automatic photometer and wavelength calibration. Accuracy, linearity and sensitivity are assured for every measurement. Menu-driven program parameter selection, presentation of data in graphic and tabular formats, and data manipulation. Photometer calculations include absorbance, % transmission, first and second derivative, log absorbance, concentration, absorbance difference, absorbance ratio, enzyme rate, enzyme concentration, peak identification, area integration, and multiwavelength analysis at five wavelengths. RS-232C serial interface allows hookup to an external computer for further data processing and storage. Programs are provided for wavelength scanning, kinetics, time scanning, multiwavelength analysis, standard curve and read sample. Mulit-sample holder. Wavelength range: 200-750nm. Spectral bandwidth: 0.5, 1, & 4nm, program selectable. Wavelength accuracy: +/-0.5nm. UNIT IS FULLY FUNCTIONABLE BUT NOT Y2K COMPATIBLE (UNABLE TO ENTER YEAR ABOVE 1999).
