LKB Bromma Transphor 2005

The Transphor electrophoretic blotting unit uses the principals of electrophoresis to transfer proteins and nucleic acids from polyacrylamide or agarose gels onto nitrocellulose, DBM or other immobilizing matrices. The electrode configuration of the Transphor provides the uniform electric field required for quantitative transfer from an entire gel slab. Up to four gels may be run simultaneously when cooling is not required (1 cassette included). The Transphor includes its own power supply lid. Control panel indicates current indicator (0-2A) and rotary potentiometer for voltage adjustments between 0 and 100VDC. Lid locks directly onto electrode assembly of the main unit and automatically disconnects the electrodes when unlocked.
