Hybridization - Incubator - Boekel 131000

Type:

Hybridization

Item:

Incubator

Stock #:

14170

Make / Model:

Boekel 131000

Description:

The Rock N' Roll Hybridization Incubator is ideal for DNA, RNA and protein blotting techniques. Unique wave action/roller motion ensures complete membrane coverage and minimizes the amount of probe required. Microprocessor-based controller regulates temperature from ambient to 70C. An independently calibrated thermostat operates as a safety backup. Forced air convection delivers uniformity throughout the chamber (+/-0.5C). The incubator accommodates a variety of vessels. The Rock N' Roll commonly utilizes five large bottles, 23/4 x 81/2 in. (70 x 216mm), or seven small bottles, 21/4 x 7 in. (57 x 178mm), when stacked within the chamber. The Rock N' Roll also comes equipped with two wave action rollers and two straight rollers. One of each type is required per bottle for wave action/roller motion (for nonwave motion, use straight rollers only). Rollers are easy to install and remove for bottle changes or cleaning, and a hydrophobic sleeve repels liquids.
