The New Brunswick Scientific AS-3 media sterilizer automatically prepares 1-3L of sterile media in less than an hour without need for steam supply. Simply add water and dehydrated media. Set the sterilization time from 0-60 minutes and the dispensing temperature. Constant, slow speed agitation shortens the sterilization period and reduces the time that heat sensitive constituents are exposed to elevated temperatures, thus producing a higher quality agar without heat degradation. The sterilizing chamber is a jacketed 316 stainless steel pressure vessel.
