Description:	Vertical. Used to perform electrophoresis or isoelectric focussing in homogeneous polyacrylamide gel slabs or rods or for electrophoresis in gradient gel slabs. The apparatus will handle 1-4 slabs 80mm wide, or 1-2 slabs 180mm wide, or up to 20 rods. Slabs & rods up to 140mm long are accepted. Built-in, separately powered centrifugal pump prevents pH shift and maintains an even temperature across the gel. To ensure even heat dissipation, a cooling coil is built in for connection to an external circulator (not included). This "LS" model is similar to the regular 2/4, except it's 6cm longer and is particularly suited for running long gel slabs of the two dimensional techniques. * PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE BUFFER CHAMBER (SHOWN IN PHOTO). *
