The Modulus Data Systems COMP-U-DIFF blood cell counter and morphology data entry workstation guides the operator through the complete procedure by a series of english-text prompts on the large, bright LED display. Mode and morphology selection are also displayed and confirmed in english text. 24 RBC cellular morphology and platelet evaluation comments may be entered directly. Each is shown with 4 character display (POIK, HYPO, etc) with up to 6 levels of quantification. Morphology titles are selected with a single keystroke. The keypad includes 12 counting keys and 6 function keys. Two keys may be set as non-totaling counters to provide a tracking method for abnormal cells such as NRBC's. Cell-counting capabilities may also be expanded by an additional ten cell classification by reprogramming certain keys. Counts may be subtracted at any time by using the decrement function.
