This Chromato-vue C-5 portable laboratory darkroom permits fluorescent analysis under any lighting conditions. It provides quick and accurate visual scanning of fluorescent and absorbing spots on thin layer or paper chromatograms, employing powerful ultraviolet sources of high intensity that will detect as little as 5 micrograms of steroid. Includes long wave and short wave lamps, as well as white light, facilitating location and identification of components. Soft flexible access curtain allows insertion of plates without risk of scratching, maintains complete darkness while observer manipulates chromatogram. SINGLE lamp with long wave/short wave selection & white light.
