Description:

The Anthos 2001 is a filter photometer, designed to measure the light absorbance of samples in microplates. This photometer combines an optomechanical system with microcomputer electronics to achieve precise measurements and fast throughput. Wavelength range: 400 - 750 nm. Measurement range: 0.000 - 2.500 OD. Wavelength selection: Dielectrical Interference filters, filter slide with 3 filters (405, 450, 492nm), with space for up to eight filters maximum. Reading eight wells simultaneously, the system is able to read a microplate within five seconds. Automatic initialization and self-monitoring features reduce errors. Detailed error messages ensure correct measurements and operation. Thirty different types of data evaluation programs can be stored in and retrieved by the Reader and plate memory is also featured. All programs and data are protected by permanent battery backup in non volatile memory. The Anthos 2001 can be used as a stand alone unit (connected to a printer) or as a remote controlled unit (connected to a computer). 30 user programmable assays, permanently stored The Reader gives you the option to recall programmed assays by entering of the assay number or by scrolling with the up/down cursor key.
