Chatillon LTCM-6E with DFM-100

The Chatillon economical, motorized test stand model LTCM-6E tensile strength tester features a unique design that is quite different from traditional single column motorized test stands. It provides an extremely large work area (capable of handling specimens up to 17-inches (432 mm) high and 10-inches (254 mm) in diameter), both vertically and horizontally, for tension and compression testing to 100 pounds. The force gauge travels 11" vertically with a 5" horizontal clearance from the column. Large test specimens can easily fit onto the generous 10" work area. The large, aluminum base can be removed for direct assembly to your work area or specialized fixture. Maximum vertical stroke is 14-inches (356 mm). The LTCM-6E features adjustable upper and lower set points to facilitate testing and dynamic braking for more precise stopping of movement. A calibrated adjustable speed dial accurately controls travel speed and a "Return to Max Speed" selector switch returns the ram at the highest speed. It is compatible with the Wagner FDI / FDIX Series and all Chatillon force gauges. Optional adapter kits may be available from Chatillon for mounting other gauges. The stand feature a rotary dial for adjusting speed from 0.5 to 15.0-inches/minutes (1.3 to 38.1 cm/minute). Stand capacity is 100 lbs (50 kg, 500 N). Priced with DFM-100 force gauge. The Chatillon DFE Series is a compact, easy-to-use force gauge designed for economy applications without compromising functionality. Ideal for handheld or test stand applications, this DFE-100 has a capacity of 100 lbs (50 kg, 500N). The DFE features an integral loadcell with a measurement accuracy of better than 0.25% full scale. A large, easy-to-read, high resolution dot matrix LCD display supports a variety of standard gauge functions including normal and peak readings, high/low limits, setpoints, pass/fail results, statistical results, loadcell actuation and direction. Loads are displayed in ozf, gf, lbf, kgf and N units. The display can be inverted and displayed results may be "hidden" from the operator.
