The Thermo Multiskan Ascent measures a 96-well plate in nine seconds and a 384-well plate in only 20 seconds with excellent repeatability from well to well and plate to plate. Multiskan Ascent is also an excellent tool for stand alone use. The photometer is linear up to 4Abs units with 96-well plates and up to 3Abs units with 384-well plates, eliminating the need to dilute samples and saving time in obtaining sample results. In addition, up to eight filters can be installed in the filter wheel. The photometer also features easy robot integration and the Ascent Software for PC control. The software includes a Procedure Desktop for instrument control and limitless assay setup, and a flexible Results Desktop for measuring data, calculating results, and creating reports. This unit is equipped with an incubator capable of temperatures up to 50C (122F) for assays requiring temperature control.
