Description:

The IEC PR 7000 is a large capacity, floor model refrigerated centrifuge. With a wide range of capabilities this instrument can accommodate microplates, RIA tube racks, or virtually any tube or bottle size up to 1000mL. Features of the IEC PR 7000 include operating speed up to 6900rpm/9635xG consistent within +/- 10rpm, high torque dynamic brake to reduce run times, temperature can be regulated between -9 to +39 degrees C., and automatic temperature compensation maintains environment within +/- 1 degree C, built in imbalance sensor monitors the cycle for rotor imbalance or temperature system failure, fail-safe cover interlock prevent from opening cover while rotor is in motion, indicators for rotor stop and motor brush wear, timer allows for runs from 6 seconds to 99 minutes, two acceleration and five deceleration rates, and digital LED display. Allows a wide selection of rotors and accessories so you can accommodate a range of sample loads. Rotor(s) and accessories sold separately. We have a wide variety of rotors & accessories available used from stock. To quote you on the accessories, I would need to know: 1) your tube or vessel volume(s) 2) how many tubes do you plan to spin at a time? 3) what speed you intend to spin at? Swinging bucket rotors tend to have limited speeds at which they are to be operated at and fixed angle rotors are generally used for higher speeds.
