Description:

The CR4.22 refrigerated centrifuges are automated centrifuges designed for general purpose clinical and research laboratory uses that require the application of relative centrifugal force (RCF) and are equipped with a cooling unit which can maintain the rotor chamber temperature at or below the ambient temperature. FROM THE MANUFACTURER'S LITERATURE: The CR4.22 centrifuge's temperature range is -8 to 40C and can be controlled in 1C increments with an accuracy of +/-0.5C. The speed can be controlled from 200 to 8000rpm in increments of 10rpm with an accuracy of +/-10rpm. The RCF control range is 10 to 9500g in increments of 1g step from 10 to 99g and 10g step from 100 to 9500g. This centrifuge also has a 1 to 99 minute timer. Various rotors are compatible with this centrifuge: two 4x750mL swing-out rotors (M4 and T4) which allow the centrifugation of many types of tubes in plastic inserts fitting standard or sealed buckets and 6 fixed angle rotors for centrifugation at higher speed. The angular rotors include the following models: CD1 (8x100mL at 7200rpm/7760g), CD2 (10x50mL at 7500rpm/8170g), CD3 (40x15mL at 7000rpm/7230-7940g), CD4 (40x15mL at 7000rpm/7180-7890g), CD5 Sealed (40x15mL at 6700rpm/6820-7580g) and (30x1.5/2mL at 7200rpm/6660g) for Eppendorf tubes. This centrifuge will include a 4 place swining bucket rotor & inserts where available used from stock.
