Description:

Heats to 104C (220F). With thermostat control for use in vessels, tanks, baths containing water, oil, wax, paraffin or glycerine. Hangs on side of container that is at least 9 in. deep (23cm), has 21/2 in. I.D. (6.4cm) and a wall thickness of up to 1/2 in. (1.3cm). Set temperature on dial (graduated from 1 to 10) from 27 to 104C (80 to 220F). Safety cutout prevents elements from overheating. **** THIS IS AN IMMERSION HEATER * IT DOES NOT CIRCULATE **** NOT recommended for use in sous vide cooking, as we cannot guarantee sterility suitable for human consumption.
